C'est Pourquoi Je T'aime (Chapter 2)

Hey everybody! So, I'm leaving for about 2 weeks on Friday, so I'm going to try to get as many chapters done in my stories before I leave to keep you all happy. =]
-Roxy

I sat on the bus on the way home thinking to myself that this was probably the best day of my life so far. I drop my book, then the boy I like asks me out. I'd have to keep that in mind. Drop stuff, then good things happen. I still couldn't believe I had worked up the gut to talk to him. I had never gone on a date with anyone and nevertheless talked to a boy who wasn't my brother, Justin, or my best friend, Luc. I unlocked the door to my house as I was humming the words to 'Dancing in the Moonlight' to myself.

"What's got you in such a good mood today?" I heard my older brother Justin, say from on the couch.
"I had ... a good day, to say the least." I said, a smile appearing on my face as I thought of Marc.
"What happened?" Justin asked curiously.
"Eff off, Justin." I said, grabbing a Coke then heading upstairs to shower and get ready for my date that night.
"Seriously?! What happened?!" I heard Justin yelp from downstairs after a pause. I just chuckled to myself and turned on the water. After drying out my hair, slipping on my dark wash skinny jeans and white halter tip, and quickly applying grey eyeshadow and clear lipgloss, I heard a knock on the door. I skipped down the stairs, much to the amusement of my brother, and opened the door only to see Marc standing there with his adorable grin etched on his face and a single white rose in the other.

"Ce ci est pour vous!" (This is for you) He said, handing me the flower which causes my cheeks to flush a bit.
"Mais, merci!" I said, taking the flower from his hands and placing it in the vase on the table next to me.
"We should get going." he says, taking my hand and motioning me towards his car which was parked by the sidewalk. I smile and tighten my grip around his hand, as he opens the car door for me. He slides into the drivers seat, and when he looks at me, he's got the hugest grin on his face.
"What?" I laugh and ask nervously.
"Nothing," He said, the grin still on his face, his eyes, studying mine, "It's just, I never realized you were this beautiful."
I felt the blood rush to my face. I was blushing. And blushing hard.
"Thanks," I manage to say, diverting my eyes from his.
"You know, you're cute when you blush," Marc said, turning me head to face his with a huge smile on his face that never seems to wear off.
"You realize by saying this you're just making me blush more right." I said, giving up on trying to hide my embarrassment.
"That's the point." Marc said, winking at me as we pulled up into a parking spot outside of the downtown restaurant called Prima's.
"Ever been here before?" Marc asked, as he opened me door and helped me get out of his car.
"No, can't say I have." I said, taking his hand as we walked through the doors and asked to be seated on the patio.
"It's great. I hope you like Italian." he said as he gave my hand a little squeeze and sat down across from me.
"Love it." I say, a huge grin forming on my face.
